Stephen Holmgren

Stephen is a senior majoring in Political Science and Economics. He's been involved in Habitat since the fall of his freshman year. In addition to Habitat, he is a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Humane Society. He would also like you to know that the single best decision you could make is it to participate in the Habitat Collegiate Challenge during your next Spring Break! His interests include cheese fries, Publix subs, and long walks on the beach.

Rachel Fernandez

My name is Rachel Fernandez and I'm from Miami. I am a third year anthropology major hoping to go into archaeology. Ive been involved with Habitat for Humanity since the fall of my Sophomore year. I love the work we do and I hope to spread all the amazing things we do to get more people involved.

Michelle Corrado

Michelle is a fourth year studying Nutritional Sciences. She loves Habitat because it’s a fun and social group that knows how to work as a team to get the job done. Everyone has their own strengths, but the same goal of helping serve our local community. She also thinks that Habitat socials are the best socials on campus!

Mary Dempsey

Mary Dempsey was raised in Alaska amoung the bears and the hardcore
alaska rabbits. She loves animals, baking, and building things. She has come to florida to explore, learn the way of the reptile, and run circles around Lake Alice. She thinks Collegiate Challenge during spring break was awesome! Ps. Habitat has never seen as much money as it will have after spring semester!

Drew Chung

Drew Chung is a junior at UF studying philosophy and anthropology. He will study international law and environmental law after graduation. He misses the beaches near his home, Coral Springs, but enjoys the nature sites Gainesville offers. He loves Habitat because all of the fantastic people that participate and the satisfaction of contributing to a project that benefit people in need of assistance. He hopes to meet you at a Habitat for Humanity meeting. Even more so, he would love for you to participate in a week-long trip occurring during UF's spring break 2012.

My name is Will Mazzota. I am a Junior, majoring in Environmental Science and Political Science. I have been building homes for Habitat for 5 years, from South Florida to New Orleans. My favorite pass time is hugging trees.
