The annual UF Habitat 5k is designed to help raise money and promote awareness for the efforts by Habitat for Humanity and for affordable housing in Alachua County. We encourage all club members, their friends, members of their family and any UF student to sign up and run for a great cause.

The race will be virtual this year, due to Covid-19 restrictions. Racers can run anytime they'd like on the weekend of November 21st, 2020 between Friday, November 20th and Sunday, November 22nd.

The funds raised during the race will be used for critical home repair projects for deserving families in Alachua County, books and school supplies for children moving into Habitat homes, as well as our current Habitat home built solely by UF students.

Upon registration, virtual racers will receive:

  • A new University of Florida Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity club t-shirt

  • One ticket for a raffle of prizes

Registration is $20 with a small signup fee. Racers can buy more tickets to win prizes by vemnoing @lindseystoner13. Raffle tickets are $1 each.

You will still receive a t-shirt and the chance to win prizes if you register and choose not to run, but if you do run please message your race time (screenshot of any running app) and a photo of you after the run to our Facebook page! We would love to see members get out and get active in their communities, plus we will repost your accomplishments.

Looking forward to a great race this year!
