Thank you for your interest in UF Habitat for Humanity! There are many ways in which you can get started with our chapter! Here are the best ways:

1. Attend a General Body Meeting

Meetings are held monthly on Tuesdays at 7:20pm throughout the school year, typically in Rinker 240. These meetings are a great way to learn about Habitat for Humanity’s mission, meet other members and officers, and learn how to get involved in current events.

Upcoming Spring '23 Meeting Dates:

March 28th, 2023

April 11th, 2023 (ELECTION GBM)

4. Attend builds, fundraisers, and socials

We host builds every Saturday morning from 8:30am to approximately 2:30pm at our build sites in Gainesville. To find out more, click here to go to our Builds tab!

We are constantly coming up with new ways to raise funds for our organization. To find out more click here to go to our Fundraisers tab!

We host numerous social events throughout the year so that members can bond and spend time together outside of builds and meetings. To find out more, click here to go to our Socials tab!

5. Go to Collegiate Challenge

Collegiate Challenge is an alternative Spring Break trip with Habitat for Humanity where a group of volunteers will travel to another Habitat affiliate around the country, live in housing provided by the affiliate, and volunteer at the construction site during the week, while visiting and exploring the surrounding areas during the given free time.

Dates for the Spring 2023 Collegiate Challenge will be announced soon. Stay tuned in here for updates or contact our Collegiate Chair Officer at the link here.
